Ryan Reynolds As ‘The Green Lantern’ – Fan Art
It’s been just seven days since it was officially announced that Ryan Reynolds (X-Men Origins: Wolverine / The Proposal / The Nines) had been cast as Hal Jordan in The Green Lantern. In this short time one talented fan has managed to put together a very impressive fake image of Reynolds all suited up as the Green Lantern (ab0ve).
The artist in question is known as Josh MC – you have to be impressed by his work.
Enjoy the image because it will be a long time before an official image is made available. Filming won’t commence until at least November or possibly not until 2010 (depending on the report you read).
The Green Lantern is a live-action feature film adaptation of the DC Comic of the same name. Martin Campbell (The Edge of Darkness/ Casino Royale) will direct.
The story follows a human who is granted a mystical green ring that brings with it powers and a membership to an intergalactic team of Green Lantern’s who are charged with the task of keeping peace in the universe.
The Green Lantern is scheduled for release June 17, 2011.
