Ryan Reynolds is 'The Green Lantern' AND 'Deadpool'
Ryan Reynolds is the superhero star of the moment, having scored the lead roles in the Marvel comic based Deadpool and the DC Comic based The Green Lantern.
Although a great choice for either role, many fans feel it is a weird situation to have him in both roles simultaneously. I’m on the fence though I have to admit it has for me watered down his iconic Deadpool status somewhat. But what does Reynolds think?
“There’s no rule that says you can’t play two different characters in two different comic-book universes,” Reynolds told Entertainment Weekly. “There are so many interesting comic-book characters out there. I would love to do others.”
More? Now that would definitely take me off the fence.
The Green Lantern is scheduled for release June 17, 2011 with production expected to kick off January 2010.
The release date of Deadpool remains unknown though it is expected it won’t hit theaters until 2011/2012.

I wouldnt be suprised if something happened to the Green lantern contract, ok he could do both movies but not so close together, unless one gets delayed a lot!

True movie goers can see Each movie as it is meant to be an entity onto its self.
I believe any actor can play many roles well within one genre. It is pulling off the portrayal of that character.
I enjoy Ryan Remolds ability to make every role his own and I enjoy his range of acting, I find it refreshing.
I find Sandra Bullock to be that kinds of actress as well.

Seriously, who the F____ designed that costume? Not only is it WAY off based and ugly it is SO wrong. Even i you wanted to go in a different direction, you could have made it look a thousand times better and that mask is WAY to small as well. Who ever is in charge of the costume design should be fired!!!!
