The cast of director Jonathan Liebesman’s sci-fi alien invasion actioner Battle: Los Angeles continues to expand with the addition of seven new names: Ne-Yo, Ramon Rodriguez, Taylor Handley, Cory Hardrict, Jadin Gould, Bryce Cass and Joey King.

Battle: Los Angeles is an alien invasion movie from Columbia Pictures that has been likened to a sci-fi version of Black Hawk Down meets 28 Days Later.

The film stars Aaron Eckart (aka Two-Face in The Dark Knight) as a tough Marine Commander in charge of a platoon battling against an alien invasion on the streets of Los Angeles.

R&B Singer Ne-Yo will play a corporal in the platoon.

Rodriguez (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen), Handley (Southland) and Hardrict (Gran Torino) are members of the platoon fighting the invading aliens.

Cass, Gould and King are kids trapped in a community center.

Additional cast include Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan, Michael Pena and Adetokumboh M’Cormack.

Battle: Los Angeles will hit theaters February 18, 2011.
