Sony Getting Set For ‘Men In Black 3′

Rory Bruer (Sony’s President of Worldwide Distribution) has announced that Sony is looking at resurrecting the Men in Black franchise with a third movie, according to a report on Total Film.

Speaking at this year’s ShoWest convention, Bruer told cinema chain owners that Sony is busy developing the third film and that a 2011 release date is a possibility.

No other details were given.

Men in Black, starring Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith was released in 1997 and raked in an impressive $587M at the Box Office.  Both actors reprised their roles for the sequel in 2002, which grossed $426M.
