Its official now – Spider Man 4 would have a new star and director! Sony announced that after the successful run of three Spider Man movies, the franchise would like to get back to Spidey’s roots. This implies that Toby Maguire is too old to play the character of school going Spider Man and naturally, has to be displaced by someone younger. There was already a problem brewing between Sam and Sony causing the exit of the former from, the franchise. There are many who are considering this as an aftereffect of Marvel’s takeover by Disney. We fans really do not have any clue about what really the makers want to do need but they are certainly not ready to go ahead on the old path.
