Stephen Hawking has said in a statement that the universe has the capacity of making itself and it does not require the aid of God for life! He states that the law of gravity will enable the universe to make itself from nothing and he is pretty confident that the earth does not require the help of God or any God like existence for getting things started. His statements does not mean that he does not believe in the existence of God …he just stated that we do not have to invoke God for getting things on earth started and going.
