Syfy Orders a Second Season of ‘Warehouse 13′

Warehouse 13

After less than two months since its premiere, Syfy has given the green-light for a minimum 13-episode second season of Warehouse 13.

“We took a look at doing 20 episodes, but for logistic and financial reasons, it didn’t make sense to do that right now, but I wouldn’t rule it out,” Syfy president Dave Howe said.

The series, which follows Secret Service agents who investigate “artifacts” that have scientific or supernatural power, is the most-watched show in Syfy’s 17-year history with an average of 3.7M viewers a week.

Surprisingly, Warehouse 13 has a near 50% female viewership and is performing better in its first season than the first season Battlestar Galactica.

Warehouse 13 airs on Tuesdays at 9pm on Syfy.
