‘Terminator’ Has Another Suitor
Sony is the new bidder for the Terminator franchisee and this follows almost a month after Lionsgate had placed its bid. Though there was no official declaration from the studio but industry insiders revealed that the bidding was submitted on Thursday, which also was the final day. Lionsgate had quote a bid of $15 million along with a 5% cut on the gross receipts. The franchise is up for sale from the month of September and the assets of terminator are going to be up for auction on Monday. Bankruptcy hearing is slated to take place two days later.
