Moto-Terminator's in a scene from 'Terminator Salvation'

In the trailer(s) to Terminator Salvation you get to see snippets from a couple of action scenes with ‘Moto-Terminators’.  Now we’ve got a few concept artist images to show you and a short behind the scenes video of them in action.

The first two images are early conceptual designs as presented in the The Art of Terminator Salvation and Terminator Salvation: The Official Movie Companion (by Tara Bennett and Titan Books).

Moto-Terminators eject from the Harvester's Legs in 'Terminator Salvation'

If you know your motorcycles you won’t be surprised to learn that the designs for the Moto-Terminators were inspired by Ducati’s Hypermotard.

“This movie is all about technology taken to such a high level that it becomes an art form — to me, that fits as a description of Ducati,” said McG (Director of Terminator Salvation).
