The Asylum Releases ‘MegaFault’ Trailer and Images
If you thought Roland Emmerich’s 2012 was the only flick on the way trying to destroy the world, think again. American film studio and distributor The Asylum, who most recently captured worldwide fame with Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus, are going to try to split the world in two with their latest flick, MegaFault.
As disappointed as I was with Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus (let’s face it, the title was the best thing about it), MegaFault definitely looks to be a step up in quality for the low budget direct-to-dvd studio. The film is even blessed with a star studded cast that includes the beautiful and award winning Brittany Murphy (Sin City / 8 Mile / The Expendables), Smallville’s Justin Hartley, Oscar nominee Bruce Davison (X-Men / X2), and Emmy nominee Eriq La Salle of ER fame.
The film follows seismologist Dr. Amy Lane (Murphy) and miner Boomer (La Salle) who race against time to stop a giant earthquake that threatens to tear the Earth in half.
Check out the trailer and a heap of images after the jump.
