Warner Bros. Pictures have released their new theatrical trailer for the apocalyptic sci-fi film The Book of Eli, and I have to say this trailer is far superior to the first trailer they released.

The Book of Eli tells the story of a lone man (Denzel Washington) who fights his way across a post apocalyptic America in order to protect a sacred book that holds the secret to saving humankind.

The film is directed by brothers Allen and Albert Hughes.

Additional cast include Gary Oldman and Mila Kunis. Additional cast include Michael Gambon (aka Dumbeldore from Harry Potter), Gary Oldman (Batman Begins / The Dark Knight / Lost in Space), Ray Stevenson (King Arthur / Punisher: War Zone) and Jennifer Beals (The Grudge 2 / Devil in a Blue Dress).

The Book of Eli opens in theaters:
UK & USA – January 15, 2010
Australia – February 18, 2010
