Look like The Flash feature film is still moving ahead

News surfaced recently to throw doubt on the future of the live-action feature film adaptation of The Flash.  In a nutshell, producer Charles Roven apparently told IGN that Warner Bros. didn’t feel they could green-light the film based on the work that he’d been doing, and that they were now eager to take a different approach.

IGN have sinced posted an update to their original article, advising that the film’s current screenwriter, Dan Mazeau, contacted them to help ease concerns.

“Just to chime in on your latest article,” Mazeau said, “The Flash has not been hobbled. Everything is moving forward as planned. I’m still writing the script. Geoff Johns is still consulting. Flash fans have no cause for concern, and — IMO — lots to be excited about.”

Sounds good, so let’s put The Flash back on the 2011 list of anticipated films.
