‘The Lightning Thief’ Teaser Trailer Released
The first short teaser trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief has been released. Watch it now:
Percey Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is a fantasy/comedy directed by Chris Columbus – the director of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. Seems a fitting director for a movie that clearly offers some similarities to Harry Potter.
The story is based upon the best selling first novel in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by author Rick Riordan. It follows a teenage boy named Percy who, upon discovering he is the descendent of the Greek god Poseidon and a human mother, joins a battle to settle a long running war between the gods.
Logan Lerman plays the lead role of Percy alongside Pierce Brosnan (Chiron), Uma Thurman (Medusa) and Sean Bean as Zeus. Eureka’s Erica Cerra (Deputy Lupo) also stars in the film as Hera.
