‘The Smurfs’ Land In Central Park: See The New Photo

The Smurfs are going to invade the Big Apple in August 2011, however now and then there are events reminding us of their future arrival. On this new picture from the upcoming film about the Smurf family, Papa Smurf, Brainy Smurf, Smurfette, Grouchy Smurf, Gutsy Smurf and Panicky Smurf have just landed in New York’s Central Park on a nice sunny day. The film follows the little Smurfs after their village has been found and they have to escape using their magical portal. Eventually they end up in Manhattan, right in the middle of Central Park, and now their challenge is to find their way home. The movie tells about their adventures, their friendship with a human Johan and the troublesome encounter with a vicious Gargamel.


The cute blue beings are going to speak in the voives of Jonathan Winters, Katy Perry, Alan Cumming, George Lopez, Anton Yelchin, B.J. Novak, Fred Armisen, John Oliver, Jeff Foxworthy and Kenan Thompson. The Smurfs are coming! And we are waiting for them.
