Three More Join ‘The Adjustment Bureau’
Daniel Dae Kim (Lost / Crash / Spider-Man 2), Michael Kelly (Changeling / Dawn of the Dead / Unbreakable), and John Slattery (Flags of our Father / Eraser / Iron Man 2) have been cast in the contemporary sci-fi drama The Adjustment Bureau.
They will join lead actors Matt Damon and Emily Blunt.
The Adjustment Bureau, written and to be directed by George Nolfi (Bourne Ultimatum), is loosely based upon a 1954 short story by famed sci-fi author Philip K. Dick. Other films adapted from Dick’s stories include Minority Report, Blade Runner and Total Recall.
The story follows a congressman (Damon) who whilst on the rise in politics meets and falls in love with a beautiful ballet dancer (Blunt) only to discover there are mysterious forces attempting to keep them apart.
Lost’s Kim will play a mysterious staffer at the Bureau of Adjustments.
Slattery, who plays Howard Stark in the upcoming Iron Man 2, will play a high-ranking bureau executive.
Kelly, who will next be seen opposite Gerard Butler in Law Abiding Citizen, will play Matt Damon’s best friend and campaign manager.
The Adjustment Bureau is scheduled for release sometime in 2010.
