True Blood has been placed at the coveted No. 1 spot for being the Best TV Series for 2009. Alan Ball’s HBO series on vampires is a runaway hit and has millions of viewers around the world. Allan Ball took inspiration from Charlaine Harris and turned it into a great TV series that managed to keep audience glued to their favorite show weeks after weeks. The director has used his own creativity to churn out a commercially viable TV series. Thus, there is no reason why this vampire series should not be given the spot it deserves. Allan Ball surely has a Midas – touch while turning out every episode into gold with his deft touch.
