‘True Blood’ Scores Another Ratings Record
It has to come to a stand still eventually – but not this week.
Once again True Blood has broken its viewer ratings record.
Prior to last Sunday’s episode, S02E10 ‘New World in My View’, the series had enjoyed record viewer numbers at a rise of roughly 100,000 per week consistently for a few weeks. This time around the number has jumped by roughly 800,000.
Last week the record was 4.5M, now the record is 5.33M.
With this rating True Blood managed to rank third in the 18-49 age group among all primetime programs for the week. And rightly so, the series is excellent.
The question is, can it break the record again?
The next episode, S02E11 ‘Frenzy’, airs August 30 on HBO.
