Morena Baccarin stars in 'V'

Yesterday we posted thirty images from ABC’s remake of the 1980’s sci-fi series V. Today the ABC have released the first clips we’ve seen from the pilot. Watch them now:

V re-imagines the original series’ premise of a world that wakes up to find spaceships over every major city. The Visitors claim to have come in peace, bringing gifts of medical miracles and technological breakthroughs. They promise to do no harm. The story follows Homeland Security agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) who stumbles upon the Visitor’s true plans – that the aliens intend to infiltrate our governments and businesses towards ultimately controlling mankind.

The new series boasts an all-star cast including Lost’s Elizabeth Mitchell (aka Juliet), Joel Gretsch (The 4400 / Minority Report / Push), Scott Wolf (Double Dragon / White Squall / Party of Five), Morena Baccarin (Firefly / Serenity / Stargate SG-1) and lan Tudyk (Firefly).

V (also referred to as V: The Series) will air on the NBC later this year.
