ABC have confirmed their remake of the 1980’s sci-fi series V will premiere on Tuesday, November 3 at 8pm.

The announcement occurred during a news conference at the Television Critics Association summer press tour, alongside a couple of extra spoilerific tidbits:

• the show will feature homages to iconic moments from the original series
• one of those homages will see Morena Baccarin (the alien leader Anna) eat a rodent of some kind
• another will see actors from the original series appearing in the show, but not necessarily as the same characters they once played
