The official numbers are in showing that Watchmen has pulled in an impressive $25.1 million on its first full opening day.  It now enters the history books with:

• the 32nd highest opening day of all time
• the 8th highest grossing opening day for a super-hero movie of all time
• the 5th highest opening for an R-Rated movie(behind The Matrix Reloaded, 300, Sex and the City, and The Passion of the Christ)
