Watch a featurette on the making of Karen O And The Kids’ song soundtrack to Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are.

You have to love the childish energy going into every aspect of this highly anticipated film, and I say “childish” in an extremely positive way.

The featurette also includes a couple of new clips from the film as well as a few moments from behind-the-scenes. Watch it after the jump.

Have a listen to some excerpts from the soundtrack:

The song soundtrack is available now, whilst the score soundtrack will be released on October 13.  If you want to check out the score soundtrack (by Carter Burwell) go here: Where The Wild Things Are Motion Picture Score: Music By Carter Burwell

Where the Wild Things Are follows 11 year old Max Records as he creates his own fantasy world – a forest inhabited by wild creatures that crown him as their ruler.
