Here’s the first trailer for Director Spike Jonze’s feature film adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s classic children’s story Where The Wild Things Are:

Where the wild things are follows 11 year old Max Records as he creates his own fantasy world – a forest inhabited by ferocious wild creatures that crown him as their ruler.

The film is set for theatrical release 16 October 2009.
