In what is obviously a strange event a St. Louis woman has discovered the script to The Twilight Saga: New Moon in a trash bin.

Casey Ray (a St. Louis beauty salon owner) spotted the screenplay to the Twilight sequel in a trash container outside a hotel.

It is not known how the script ended up in the trash, although it is known that a number of actors were staying in the hotel for George Clooney’s new movie Up in the Air.

Anna Kendrick, who plays Jessica in both Twilight and the sequel New Moon is also a star in Up In The Air and was coincidentally staying at the hotel.  A spokeswoman for Kendrick, Lisa Perkins, said the actress wouldn’t have left scripts lying around.

Casey Ray momentarily considered leaking the scripts to a national tabloid but decided money wasn’t her thing.  Instead, she returned the scripts to the studio (Summit Entertainment LLC).

In return, Summit invited Ray to the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon and another new film by the title of Memoirs.  Yes, she found a second script for that movie too.

Memoirs is a story of two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened by family tragedies.  Interestingly, Twilight actor Robert Pattinson has reportedly been looking at a starring role in the film. One might be forgiven for suspecting that Anna Kendrick might also be considering a role in Memoirs, perhaps as Pattinson’s love interest.  Just a guess.
