Gah! never mind, apparently the clip my friend sent me was the unfinished version, so borrowed music is not such a bad deal, never mind my rant, I feel stupid now, I am sure the music that they ended up with was great.

So I just got a sneek peak at the intro to the movie and I was a bit disappointed in the music, in the intro showing logan and sabortooth fighting side be side through the wars they used the exact soundtrack from transformers written by Steve Jablonsky. I believe that track was named Optimus Vs. Megatron. Now I am not saying the music is not amazing. I love the transformers soundtrack I think both Steve Jablonsky and Harry Gregson-williams are complete geniuses, I am just a little miffed that an amazing opening to a movie does not have an epic piece of original music to go with it.

You are correct, he had nothing to do with the score. To be more specific, he wrote “Flying Talking Donkey” which featured on the I Am Legend soundtrack.

He did NOT score “I am LEgend”. That was James Newton Howard.
