Jenny’s father, Tevis Shapiro is a scientist researching a cure for HIV/AIDS, and he accidentally discovers a serum enabling vampires to survive the sun’s rays and share the daylight with humans. Consequently, there is a battle between two vampire clans – the ones who are agains the serum and those who want to walk with the humans. The leader of the latter, a vicious upstart vampire Borlak will stop at nothing to obtain the serum. Billy and a police detective Joe Kau are therefore working together to protect Jenny and her family and to keep the serum from the vampires who want to use it against humanity.
