Astro Boy is a new animated 3-D film adapted by Imagi Animation Studios from Osamu Tezuka’s popular Japanese franchise of the same name.
The story is set in futuristic Metro City and follows a young robot built with incredible powers by a brilliant scientist trying to replace the son that he has lost. The young robot (Astro Boy) is unable to fulfill the grieving man’s expectations and so embarks on a journey to learn about himeslf, the world, and ultimately must battle to save Metro City.
