Brandon Routh, aka Superman in Superman Returns, has been cast in a multi-episode arc commencing from episode four of the upcoming third season of Chuck.
Routh will play Shaw, a spy who takes control as the new leader of Operation Bartwoski. His character will become a mentor to Chuck and a rival in his affections for Sarah.
