The release date for Jonathan Liebesman’s Clash of the Titans 2 has been moved up a week – i.e. from March 30th to March 23th, 2012, Warner Bros. Pictures announced. This decision makes the Titans movie actually clash with another much expected masterpiece of another production studio – Lionsgate. The Hunger Games film directed by Gary Ross has long ago been scheduled for March 23th, so the question now is – whether it will stay on this date, or will it also be moved, and if so, then to where? Once it was released into theatres, Clash of the Titans by Louis Leterrier was acknowledged a horrible and messy movie with rather flat characters, notwithstanding the fact that the actors who played the leading parts were good ones. One of them is certainly Sam Worthington who recently commented on the criticism concertning the movie and noted that the Jonathan Liebesman’s sequel for the movie, Wrath of the Titans, will be a much better project:

Earlier this year it was revealed that the sequel to Clash of the Titans that is entitled Wrath of the Titans will star both Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes as Zeus and Hades correspondingly.
