Green Lantern has been named as the most anticipated movies at the forthcoming Scream Awards that will be aired on Tuesday night on Spike TV. The character of Green Lantern was inspired by the character of DC Comics and it has been hyped as the most anticipated movie that is to be screened at the upcoming event. Hot on the heels of Disney’s move to acquire Marvel, Warner Bros. has issued a press release announcing that they’ve created ‘DC Entertainment’, a new company whose mission is to “fully realize the power and value of the DC Comics brand”.
The move is sure to fire up movement on many DC Comic to film adaptations and accelerate action on those that have been in limbo, such as The Flash, Wonder Woman and of course the sequel to Superman. All good news for super-hero fans!
