Warehouse 13 and Eureka Syfy's two most popular shows
The first season of Warehouse 13 has run its course and the third season of Eureka has also wrapped up, completing the latest run on what have become the two most popular series on Syfy.
It seems Syfy’s odd approach of restricting their promotion of both series paid off. Whilst most networks allow promotional trailers of their shows to appear on video networks including YouTube, trailers for Warehouse 13 and Eureka were not made available by any source other than Syfy’s own video site, with each promo being immediately removed once broadcast. Syfy’s decision made it difficult for bloggers to promote the shows, but clearly that didn’t impact ratings.
Eureka’s third season was its most popular yet, averaging 3.2 million viewers every week. Nine episodes of its latest season now sit in the list of the ten most watched episodes of Eureka ever.
Warehouse 13 stole some of Eureka’s glory by becoming the most popular series ever to air on Syfy in its 17 year history. It’s first season averaged 4 million viewers an episode whilst it’s season finale was the #1 cable program in its 9PM (ET/PT) timeslot.
Both show’s will return next year with all new episodes.
Music composers Bear McCreary (Battlestar Galactica) and Nathan Barr (True Blood) will be signing CD’s this Sunday, September 13th, at 1pm at Dark Delicacies in Burbank, CA.
McCreary will be signing CD’s from Battlestar Galactica, Caprica, Eureka, Rest Stop: Don’t Look Back, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
In the next episode of Eureka, 3.13 “If You Build It…”, a mysterious Stonehenge-like structure of stolen scrap and electronics appears in a field. Carter discovers that Eureka’s teenagers are the architects, somehow being directed to build the structure whilst they sleep…and it appears the origin of the control is the signal from space…

Eureka 3.12 "It's Not Easy Being Green"
In the next episode of Eureka, 3.12 “It’s Not Easy Being Green”, rivals from Area 51 visit Eureka for a bowling tournament whilst Carter probes an escalating series of pranks.

Great news for Eureka fans.
The Syfy channel have used the San Diego Comic-Con Eureka panel to confirm the series will get a fourth season – to a thundering applause.
The announcement included the news that Season 4 will consist of 22 episodes.
Vice President of Syfy, Mark Stern, also added that he wants 2 of those 22 episodes to be musicals…
