With Zerk’s Log in between seasons and the season one finale of The Crew set to air on Monday June 15, I’ve been wondering where my next online comedy series fix was going to come from. I’m happy to say an answer has warped into my inbox.

Brett Register, the creator of The Crew, has alerted me to a new web series of his titled Lost and Found.

As you will see in the sneak pek clip below, Lost and Found is a parody series and, as the title suggests, ABC’s Lost is one of the series that Lost and Found will draw its comedic themes from.

In addition to Brett Register and Katy Stoll (Prom Queen / Couples / Private High Musical), the new web series also features The Crew’s Craig Frank who, I might add, is a brilliant and engaging actor.

I especially like Register’s approach to Lost and Found as posted on Tubefilter:

“(We) got tired of wading through all the red tape in regards to content creation and decided instead to do away with dates, deadlines, and budgets and just start creating,” said Register.

“Essentially, it’s just going to be a lot of 1-2 minute goodness running a muck on the internet,” added Register.

And so we begin (the deck of cards mystery) with a sneak peak at Lost and Found #1:
