According to the sources of digitalspy.com Elisabeth Sladen who starred in The Sarah JaneAdventures has revealed that the star of Doctor Who is really an alien. According to her, Matt Smith is a great actor and it was really a joy for the actress to act in the series with him. He was very efficient and he has tremendous zeal with every take. She also disclosed that the two part episode of “The Nightmare Man” is very scary and the episode gets into your mind as it makes nasty tricks. She revealed that she had got the opportunity to play the evil version of Sarah Jane who appears in Clyde’s nightmare.

The new Doctor Who logo – the one that will accompany the new Doctor, Matt Smith – has been released (above).

The logo is the 11th different logo used in the show’s history and it will be seen when Matt Smith’s on-screen debut occurs in the Spring of 2010.

“A new logo. The 11th logo for the 11th Doctor – those grand old words, Doctor Who, suddenly looking newer than ever,” Steven Moffat, the new Lead Writer and Executive Producer of the show said.

Coinciding with the release is an animated insignia of the show’s initials in the form of a TARDIS shape.  You can watch that below.
