‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ – The Third Best Opening Weekend
Summit Entertainment’s The Twilight Saga: New Moon has failed to beat The Dark Knight and Spider Man 3 in the opening weekend sales, and came in only the 3rd. Still, it’s a great success and $140.7 million on domestic sales.
‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ Breaks ‘Harry Potter’ Record
The Twilight Saga: New Moon set a new midnight opening record with $26.27 million from 3,514 theaters last night! That surpasses the opening nights of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince ($22.2 million) and The Dark Knight ($18.4 million). Will “New Moon” be able to pass up Dark Knight’s $67.1 million single day record?
