Although Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time wasn’t represented at the San Diego Comic-Con, Disney has nevertheless continued to promote it by releasing a couple of new images.

Here’s two new images, both featuring Jake Gyllenhaal (Prince Dastan) and Gemma Arterton (Princess Tamina).

I’ve included a third of Ben Kingsley as the evil Nizam – the Kingsley still has been out for a few days but I haven’t posted it before.

The first posters for Disney’s Prince of Persia have been released.  Click on the thumbnails to check them out:

The $150M (estimated) game-to-film adaptation is directed by Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire).

Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Prince Dastan, an adventurous prince who teams up with rival princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton) to protect an ancient dagger that could release the Sands of Time, allowing its possessor to reverse time and rule the world.

Jake Gyllenhaal in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

EW have posted the first official image of Jake Gyllenhaal in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (above).

The $150M (estimated) film comes from Disney and is a Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) directed adaption of the well known video game.

Gyllenhaal stars as Prince Dastan, an adventurous prince who together with rival princess Tamina (Gemma Arterton) battle to prevent an angry villain from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world.
