Alex Proyas To Develop Adaptation of ‘AMP ‘Sci-Fi Thriller

 Alex Proyas (the director of Dark City and Knowing) will produce and will possibly direct AMP sci-fi thriller for the “Summit Entertainment” studio basing on Daniel H. Wilson’s novel (the release date is scheduled for June 2011) that is said to combine sci-fi action and political allegory and that deals with “a world where the technology designed to make the disabled whole, turns them into supermen”. Wilson is also the author of the Robocalypse novel whose screen adaptation is going to be produced and directed in 2012 by Steven Spielberg.  Read the rest of this entry »
