
Michael J. Bassett’s first public screening of Solomon Kane at the Toronto International Film Festival has reportedly been a huge success.
The film received one of the largest midnight turnouts ever (Bassett writes on his blog that he was told it was the largest for a midnight screening) with queues stretching around the block.

A new (but short) featurette on director Michael J. Bassett’s Solomon Kane has been released that includes behind-the-scenes footage and a couple of new clips from the film.
I seriously cannot wait to see this film.

If you asked me what are the upcoming films that I’m most eager to see my response would definitely include director Michael J. Bassett’s Solomon Kane. I have, however, been guilty of not writing enough about this awesome looking action/fantasy movie.
So to start correcting this most horrendous of errors, here’s a video message from the writer/director himself in which he discusses the film. I’ve also included the trailer again (if you missed it) together with video clips from the Solomon Kane San Diego Comic-Con panel that was held in June.

There have been a couple of versions of the trailer to director Michael J. Bassett’s Solomon Kane floating around, but I’ve patiently waited for the official English version before posting. At last it is here.
