
Daniel Dae Kim, Michael Kelly & John Slattery cast in 'The Adjustment Bureau'
Daniel Dae Kim (Lost / Crash / Spider-Man 2), Michael Kelly (Changeling / Dawn of the Dead / Unbreakable), and John Slattery (Flags of our Father / Eraser / Iron Man 2) have been cast in the contemporary sci-fi drama The Adjustment Bureau.
They will join lead actors Matt Damon and Emily Blunt.
The Adjustment Bureau, written and to be directed by George Nolfi (Bourne Ultimatum), is loosely based upon a 1954 short story by famed sci-fi author Philip K. Dick. Other films adapted from Dick’s stories include Minority Report, Blade Runner and Total Recall.

Emily Blunt to star with Matt Damon in 'The Adjustment Bureau'
Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt will star opposite Matt Damon in the contemporary sci-fi drama The Adjustment Bureau.
The Adjustment Bureau, written by George Nolfi (Bourne Ultimatum), is loosely based upon a 1954 short story by famed sci-fi author Philip K. Dick. Other films adapted from Dick’s stories include Minority Report, Blade Runner and Total Recall.
The story follows a congressman (Damon) who whilst on the rise in politics meets and falls in love with a beautiful ballet dancer only to discover there are mysterious forces attempting to keep them apart. Emily Blunt will play the ballet dancer.
Blunt will next be seen as Gwen Conlifee opposite Hugo Weaving and Benicio Del Toro in The Wolf Man (scheduled for release November 6, 2009). She is also working in the UK on Fox’s Gulliver’s Travels with Jack Black in which she plays Princess Lilliputia (scheduled for release June 4, 2010).
Media Rights Capital are producing The Adjustment Bureau and financing the movie which is said to be in the $60-$65 million range.
Production is set to start mid year with a scheduled release date sometime in 2010.

Universal Pictures has reportedly picked up the rights to The Adjustment Bureau – a contemporary sci fi drama to star Matt Damon. Damon will play a politician who falls in love with a ballerina, only to discover mysterious forces try to keep them apart.
The Adjustment Bureau is written by George Nolfi (Bourne Ultimatum) based loosely upon a 1954 short story by Philip K. Dick. Other films adapted from Dick’s stories include Minority Report, Blade Runner and Total Recall.
Media Rights Capital are producing and financing the movie, said to be in the $60-$65 million range.
Production is set to start mid year with a scheduled release date sometime in 2010.

Matt Damon to star in sci fi film The Adjustment Bureau
George Nolfi, who wrote the Bourne Ultimatum, is set to make his directing debut with a new sci fi film, The Adjustment Bureau – and according to Variety Matt Damon will star in it.
The Adjustment Bureau is billed as a ‘contemporary sci fi drama’ and it will be the first time Damon and Nolfi have worked together since the last Bourne movie.
Nolfi has written the script which is said to be loosely based upon a short story written by Philip K. Dick.
Production is set to start mid year with a scheduled release date sometime in 2010.
