A new poster for this beautiful film has just been released.  Also, an international version of the Where the Wild Things Are Maurice Sendak feature that first debuted at the San Diego Comic Con has also been released, containing a few clips of never-before-seen footage.

Details on the ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ Comic-Con Panel

Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are had its moment at the San Diego Comic-Con on Friday.

The panel was introduced with a video from author Maurice Sendak, one that you can watch below.  In it he pays homage to director Spike Jonze and you can also see a few snippets of footage from the film:

‘Where The Wild Things Are’ – First Mask Test

Where the wild things are

We are one of the many that can’t wait to see Spike Jonze’s feature film adaptation of Where The Wild Things Are.

Thanks to Slashfilm we’ve learned that a blog titled ‘We Love You So‘ has been launched to enable the filmmakers to ’shed some light on many of the small influences that have converged to make this massive project a reality.”
