‘Battlestar Galactica’ Season 4 Soundtrack Sells Out

The first print run of Bear McCreary’s Battlestar Galactica: Season 4 soundtrack have sold out – two weeks prior to its release. La La Land Records are now rushing to print more to keep up with demand.
Battlestar Galactica: Season 4 has been the top selling TV soundtrack for over a month on Amazon and is currently in the Top 100 Music CD’s on Amazon (ranked #53).
In additional news, Bear McCreary will be in attendence over multiple days at the San Diego Comic-Con. On Thursday July 23 he’ll take part in Richard Hatch’s panel with other members of the Battlestar Galactica cast and crew. On Friday, Saturday and possibly Sunday he will appear at multiple signings and presentations including one at Capcom’s booth for Dark Void.
Fans will also be excited to learn that a new television project that McCreary is scoring will be premiered at Comic Con. It will be the first time his score is heard for the project, which has been kept secret.
“It’s been killing me keeping it secret,” McCreary said, “because I know when you guys hear this soundtrack… you’re gonna explode. It’s like Battlestar / Sarah Connor / Dark Void on steroids!”
Finally, those wanting to catch a live performance of the music from the Battlestar Galactica: Season 4 soundtrack should get ready to attend the San Diego House of Blues on Thursday 23rd, Friday 24th and Saturday 25th of July (during Comic-Con).
