Bear McCreary, the famed music composer behind Battlestar Galactica, calls the latest episode of Battlestar Galactica, ‘Someone to Watch Over Me’, his most musically innovative score yet.  Given that his music is always superb and consistently innovative, that’s saying something!

McCreary states he was intimately involved with the production of the episode from the earliest draft of the script right through to the end, and to coincide with this he has written a three part memoir that follows his experience.  These are long and highly detailed articles that include lots of on set photo’s and are extremely interesting to say the least.  How McCreary finds time to do his job and manage the level of content on his blog is beyond me.
