R2D2 Cameo Appearance In ‘Star Trek’
Yes, you read the title of this article right. Apparently J.J. Abrams included a little Star Wars easter egg in the latest Star Trek movie – an appearance by none other than R2D2 himself.
But where does he appear?
Paramount have launched a competition titled the ‘Star Trek Easter Egg Sweepstakes‘ in which they want you to identify the scene in Star Trek in which R2D2 appears. If you get it right, you will go into the draw to win an official prop from the movie.

For the record, we didn’t see R2D2 (no, the above image is not the real scene), but we’re going to see the movie again this week so we’ll be watching closely!

R2D2 is located in the movie at 47:39 lower left of the bridge window. He is a piece of debris.
