SyFy to Launch Star Trek Online Game

SyFy (owned by NBC Universal) is set to launch the all new Star Trek online massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG). Atari was behind the development of the game and it announced that this would serve as the one stop hub for the game. Star Trek online game is slated to be released on the 2nd of February. Senior vice president of Syfy Ventures, Alan Seiffert, said in press release that SyFy Game Centre is going to serve as the one of the hottest destinations for game lovers around the world. This move from Atari is being seen as the death knell for StarTrek.com but the beginning of a star called SyFy.
